First Quarter and Gibbous Moon

March 26 Monday
With this morning’s Cancer Moon we may feel boundless in our ability to move freely in response to inner promptings. At 8:36 am, MDT, the Moon goes void of course until late tomorrow morning. As she empties out the empathizing abilities of Cancer, the day becomes less predictable as we try to get in step with timing issues. Adjustments are required to make room for activating a course that satisfies strong yearnings. We may feel committed to a choice we’ve made yet still want it all, generating a confusing predicament.

March 27 Tuesday
Seek comfort this morning while the Cancer Moon is still void of course. At 11:04 am, MDT, She moves into Leo, receiving warmth and feeling obligated to perform. We, too, can feel energized to take risks to increase our productivity. We may feel that by pulling off extraordinary feats our wholeness may be restored. Making a spectacle of ourselves may be fun, but the possibility of losing ourselves in playing to the audience can be dangerous. Staying in touch with one’s center and chosen direction is imperative in the pursuit of high ideals.

March 28 Wednesday
Wednesday’s Leo Moon presents dramatic scenarios in which each of us may feel like we are cast as David fighting Goliath. If faced with such a reality, think of it as acting in a play, and do it as if it’s possible that you could win a Tony for your performance. If you find imagining such an accomplishment impossible, try focusing on each moment and what it presents. Don’t allow yourself to be bullied or pushed back as circumstances unfold. Inner strength, fed by love, can move giants. Don’t let any obstacle block your vibrant and exciting next encounter on the road to wholeness.

March 29 Thursday
Thursday’s Leo Moon calls for the heroics to go after what one really wants. At 8:39 am, MDT, the Moon enters her gibbous phase, a time to polish one’s performance for what is needed to connect, to unify, to find a sense of wholeness or completeness. Self-reliance and self-sufficiency are also required to find the way to pull it all together. To exhibit such power takes courage. Tonight at 7:23, the Moon goes void of course for two hours, a good time to reinforce the kind of faith that believes that one has all that one needs to face one’s fate or destiny.

March 30 Friday
The Moon is in Virgo, a sign that exhibits the endurance to finish anything undertaken. Through observation we can get a fix on what to do to experience what is sought with the fullness of the Moon. We may need to re-shape some old, tired patterns so that they fit in new contexts. Choose behaviors that fit coherently with how you believe you are connected to your world. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 1:00 to 1:30 pm, MDT, for the weekend Moon Minute.

March 31 Saturday
Saturday’s Virgo Moon supports us in finding what we need to know to change our lives, to transform them. Sharing personal insights helps us make important connections. Sunday morning the Moon goes void of course at 7:37, MDT, for two hours of releasing the cosmic thoughts of Virgo. At 9:43 am, she moves into Libra ready to share the fullness of her relationship with the Sun. There’s an all-encompassing air that offers us panoramic views of an issue. There may be a tendency to look for the unusual and miss the beauty of the usual details.
