New & Crescent Moon

May 29 Monday
Monday’s Cancer Moon is still in her new phase pumping out novel ways to nurture, or be nurtured by, wisdom coming from unlikely sources. Pay added attention to encounters with relatives, including those who feel like family. Notice images that flash through your mind in comfortable places. Let your contentment meter guide you. Satisfaction is not always based on past experiences. There need only be a promise that seems plausible. What might be worthwhile indulging may surprisingly bring innovative ideas.

May 30 Tuesday
Tuesday begins with a strong impulse to initiate a new direction or to introduce unfamiliar attitudes or behavior into a situation. Hold off till tomorrow, as the Moon goes void of course at 10:42 am, MDT, for the rest of the day. This is a double watery time with the Moon pouring out the sign of Cancer, and water tends to go towards whatever will receive it. We may vacillate and change our minds. Emotions trigger other emotions. Some are contagious; others are combative. At 3:59 pm, the Moon enters her crescent phase, feeling like it’s time to dive in and act responsibly towards emerging ideas. Slosh around with them till Wednesday!

May 31 Wednesday
We have a Leo Moon that stimulates us to get passionately involved with teasing out the potential eruption of whatever has emerged in our awareness over the last four days. There’s an urgency that won’t allow what we’re ready for to just naturally unfold. It’s time to explore new spheres with solid, disciplined action, perhaps even with the support of seasoned travelers. Those who have experienced what we want to perform can bring clarity and even brilliance to our ambitions. Branching out can provide a safety net if we find ourselves floundering on a new stage.

June 1 Thursday
Thursday’s Leo Moon presents rehearsal scenes, those grueling practices full of changes to work out rigidity and that are meant to make us feel real, not like robots. When ushering in new performances in the drama of our lives, how do we infuse our personal fire into behaviors so that we know, as well as others, that we are applauding the divine within us? How do we keep from getting blinded by the light and blurred by illusions and deceptions? How do we recognize our fate in the midst of influential factors?

June 2 Friday
If we did the rehearsal exercises yesterday, Friday’s Leo Moon gives us confidence and courage to undergo necessary changes to pursue and understand what lies deep within us. At 11:34 am, MDT, the Moon goes void of course for almost three hours. Be opened to receiving intuitive suggestions on how to proceed. At 2:17 pm, the Moon enters Virgo, helping us find a way to enjoy this adventure of self-discovery! Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 1:00 to 1:30 pm, MDT, for the weekend Moon Minute.

June 3 Saturday We have a Virgo Moon for the weekend, ready to take decisive action with new skills. The Moon enters her first quarter phase at 5:06 pm, MDT. This is really the second quarter of the lunation cycle and is a time for building or developing something. In this cycle we are supported in establishing connections with people and other realities, perhaps even seemingly fated ones. In some way this can cultivate our uniqueness and serve us in digging out our essential selves. The challenges of this weekend, if met successfully, can bring constructive progress.
