Crescent and First Quarter Moon

March 26 Monday
The Taurus Moon enters her crescent phase at 11:17 am, MT. This phase often begins with a struggle, and in this cycle it could be between falling back on old familiar ways or pursuing some recent impulse to process how one stands out and shines or makes an impact on others. To stick with the comfort of the past can repress what wants to come into one’s consciousness during this lunation. There is a magnetic force drawing us into the glittering facets of personality today. If we don’t resist it, all sorts of self-information can be linked together in ways never before explored.

March 27 Tuesday
The Moon moved into Gemini earlier today, and our minds are inclined to connect dots and discover all sorts of associations even though this morning may start out with missing links. Most of the important information lies within us. By digging deep and resisting inclinations to stop when there seems to be no progress, we just might find the prima donna of our ego, that part of us that produces attention-getting behavior and alerts us of our emotionally driven motivations. Inner brewings are made with the unique ingredients of our spiritual, psychological, and physical needs.

March 28 Wednesday
With this Gemini Moon smart-alecks pop up here and there. Is your ego one today? Do you sometimes play the trickster with the information you give? Does the part of you that has all the answers deliver them with cruelty, teasing, or restraint? On this day the know-it-all can be self-righteous and even bossy, taking on an authoritative stance that seems precocious. If, however, there is some personal expertise involved, mental brilliance can shine above it all. On the positive end, Gemini can treat everyone as an equal, being incapable of remaining aloof.

March 29 Thursday
This Gemini Moon brings feelings of aloofness while thinking of the day’s prospects. Balancing needs with energy can help. The Moon goes void of course at 12:05 pm, MT, for five hours of shaking off the myriad choices of Gemini. During this time it may be difficult to get a handle on reality. Elusive worries invade one’s mind. Cosmic thoughts and spiritual connections offer relief. At 5:07 pm, the Moon moves into instructive and supportive Cancer. A lovable mood takes over, and we may be easily influenced by other people’s needs and want to put them first, ahead of our personal needs.

March 30 Friday
This morning’s Cancer Moon beckons us to heed a call to engage in something that offers solutions to problems. At 1:41 pm, MT, the Moon enters her first quarter phase. Using some of the experiences of the past few days, we need now to embark on an action-packed path of holding our self-image together through the use of humor while noticing emotional responses and principles that arise as to what aspects of your ego can be reinforced. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon

March 31 Saturday
The active first quarter Cancer Moon reinforces one’s personal flairs of authority but not without some challenging elements. If ego and its problems are the main focus, it will be difficult to make any progress. Context and the bigger view of one’s life need consideration. At 10:20 pm, MT, the Moon goes void of course, dispersing the cultivating nature of Cancer until after midnight when she moves into the flamboyance of Leo. Sunday can be all show and no go without some major adjustments. Waiting is unproductive without trust. We need to access the unwavering focus and purpose of Leo.
