Disseminating and Last Quarter Moon

June 28 Monday
The Moon moves into knowledge-wealthy Aquarius at 6:07 am, MT. Images of decay may be this morning’s revelations. Questioning the usefulness of worn out habits and things can help to design an innovative blueprint for future behavior. Play around with a plan by considering how you want things to be. Try something new on for size and adjust until you have a sense of rightness. The Aquarius Moon sees it as her job to improve the world. She can act on impulse as a non-conformist while still respecting facts, limitations, and necessities. With this Moon we can pragmatically find a way to apply new insights.

June 29 Tuesday
This Aquarius Moon favors gathering everything that has come to light about our social weavings and confrontations to choose some elements of group dynamics that we could tinker with and improve. It may take some huge effort to free oneself of social dependency today. Some of Aquarius’s less favorable traits may show up. This sign can be imposing and overpowering. Unrealistic demands may be made, misleading others. Commonality and equality are useful guides in human interactions for Aquarius, especially since this sign likes to do things her way. Sharing may socially balance the loner, eccentric side of Aquarius.

June 30 Wednesday
At 6:13 am, MT, the Aquarius Moon enters her disseminating phase. This is the time when opportunities abound to recognize how certain patterns operate in our lives. In this lunation we may see more clearly just how we interact with others and how some of those dynamics create inner tension that has rippling effects in our public life. A new appreciation of the rhythmic flow of life emerges. At 4:25 pm, the Moon begins to void herself of gregarious Aquarius, and we may feel like slipping away for a little solitude. Our perceptions can be finely tuned during this time. At 7:10 pm, the Moon moves into highly selective Pisces.

July 1 Thursday
With this Pisces Moon we may be attentive to our being part of humanity, feeling included in everything happening and understanding it without losing one’s individuality. Our minds may be busy searching for an orientation that brings us into deeper connections with our human family. Gatherings have a magnetic tug, especially if they promise a better life. Fated encounters may occur in which one has feelings of déjà vu. Such situations can seem unreal and strange. Keep your feet on the ground. The Pisces Moon can easily slip into a fantasy world and be deceived.

July 2 Friday
This Pisces Moon lacks immunity from outside sources. We may feel like we’re flowing along, imprinting our perceptions on others while, likewise, we’re importing those of our companions. Each person’s experience forms a matrix in which one reality emerges from all the viewpoints represented. Pisces can present a collective field of information with simplicity, which in turn can help us feel good and pleased with our lives. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon Minute.

July 3 Saturday
The Moon entered impulsive Aries with a blast of unusual energy this morning, which set an upbeat, optimistic tone for the day. The Aries Moon is comfortable with pioneering and demands that we leave the past behind and find a path to what we really want. On Sunday morning at 8:35 pm, MT, the Moon enters her last quarter phase, a time for overcoming barriers to new alliances. At this point in the lunation we can recognize how our personal behavior in social settings makes all the difference in our experience. The adjustments that we make based on instinct and intuition matter.
