New and Crescent Moon

Monday December 2 The Sagittarius Moon can be comfortable with being inclusive, even if that means certain instincts have to be attuned to cultural standards. Accepting differences for the sake of good relations can help one another evolve. A major theme of Sagittarius is integration, and the need for this shows up today with the new Moon at 5:22 pm, MT. During the new phase over the next three days, it’s beneficial to keep an eye out for impulses and opportunities to consciously unify physical, social, and spiritual activities. The focus of this Moon cycle is on one’s individual integrity as found in how these different aspects of our being are accommodated. Tuesday December 3 With this Sagittarius Moon we need to pump up our energy to maintain a personal balance while doing social tasks. Some self-knowledge will remain hidden if we don’t attend to physical and spiritual activities as well. Ruthless honesty with self can provide the motivation to harmonize body, mind, and spirit. The Sagittarius in each of us can easily retreat into an inner world and become oblivious of external interaction. Tonight at 8:45 pm, MT, the Moon goes void of course for three hours of smothering the enthusiasm of Sagittarius before moving into thoughtful and conscientious Capricorn. It’s a good evening for pondering one’s reality. Wednesday December 4 The Capricorn Moon seeks a spiritual understanding of life which can enthuse social rituals today with a sense of being in the presence of awesome creatures. Some of us may automatically dismiss such an impression, keeping things within the boundaries of rational conclusions. Surprising dreamlike elements, however, are worth examining for breakthroughs in finding new avenues for creating another type of balance in one’s life. Adhering to high standards derived from one’s spiritual life, as the basis of one’s authority, can produce the fortitude to bring all levels of existence into any reality. Thursday December 5 This Capricorn Moon brings cautious optimism to achieve all tasks set for the day. Once we’re clear on the assignments to achieve, we can be unstoppable unless we have inadequately taken care of our physical needs. By cultivating a more spiritual grounding which permeates all levels of being we can have a child-like appreciation of today’s experiences. Interactions with others can be of long-lasting value. And there’s courage to tackle anything that comes into one’s line of sight unexpectedly. The Moon voids herself of highly principled Capricorn from10:30pm to 11:53 pm, MT, and then moves into future-oriented Aquarius. Friday December 6 The Moon moved into her crescent phase late last night, indicating that over the next three days it’s important to align oneself with impulses to establish an ideal integration of activities in all levels of our existence, different from the past. The Aquarius Moon is good with such transitions which can bring radical change today. Thoughts of some of the possibilities may have spiritual connotations, and some could get us deep into a mess! Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon Minute. Weekend December 7 and 8 The Aquarius Moon went void of course early this morning, blowing off this sign’s knowledge of social role-playing until after midnight. While the Moon is in this state, we may lack clarity and boundaries in our interactions even though Mars energizes sharing as it moves into Libra this afternoon. Early Sunday morning the Moon moves into unifying Pisces, a sign symbolized by an open marketplace where one finds just about anything. Sunday’s assignment is to find the thread that connects all social interlocking activities, even those done alone. Following one’s intuition on this can deliver some profound arrangements.
