Disseminating and Last Quarter Moon

November 22 Monday
The still full, information-stuffed Gemini Moon reminds us to maintain links to our unfettered spirit, as the Sun moved into Sagittarius early this morning. Sag is a sign that stretches to go beyond a limited circle of influence. And this Gemini Moon is somewhat attached to a comfortable social environment. Some of the realizations that come during the Moon’s full phase are unexpected and can test one’s conventional wisdom, particularly this afternoon. Some troubling events and or feelings demand attention. If we’re alert we can learn things about ourselves that can lead to eliminating some problem.

November 23 Tuesday
With this Gemini Moon thoughts and feelings circulate and energize diverse perspectives. All of this can overwhelm us, but intuition can sort through all the input and clearly pinpoint a breakthrough path to a new space of interaction. Sometimes it helps to also change a chapter of our personal story to push forward. At 2:56 pm, MT, the Moon goes void of course, blowing off the remaining variations of views presented by Gemini for a little over three hours. During this time we can by easily persuaded by even the slightest suggestion. At 6:14 pm, the Moon moves into the comforting embrace of Cancer, boosting our faith in self.

November 24 Wednesday
The Cancer Moon at the end of the full phase shines on the individual, showing either someone feeling complete and whole or a loner caught between the familiarity of the past and the potential of what has not yet been birthed. A major Cancer theme is the need to break with the past. Not only are new experiences required, but one must also digest them to know whether they support the network of intercommunication so important to actualizing one’s special capabilities. Today’s test is whether or not we have claimed authority over the direction of our lives.

November 25 Thursday
We begin this Thanksgiving Day with a disseminating Cancer Moon. This phase supports our recognition of our blessings, such as how our needs get fulfilled, how sensitive and receptive to life we are, our wellbeing, goodness in our lives, and much more. Choice is an issue today, not just over what to eat and when to stop eating, but also with what to share and how to do it. The Moon goes void of course at 8:44 pm, MT, letting the warmth and affection of Cancer ooze off of her. At 11:01pm, the Moon moves into romanticizing Leo. Happy Thanksgiving Day!

November 26 Friday
This Leo disseminating Moon reminds us to use our intuition to show off how we nourish and move the various factors that keep us plugged into our internal and external networks. The Leo part of us might improvise to make our way through some tense situation. Engaging others in our creative solutions can reveal new avenues that facilitate exchanges. Such a process brings renewal for our Leo. That part of us gets to find itself through a feedback loop. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon Minute.

November 27 Saturday
The Leo Moon is comfortable being the center of attention. Today we may want to call upon the leonine poise to handle weird occurrences. Our problem-solving skills may be needed to decipher some of the strangeness. During the night the Moon voids herself of dramatic Leo and moves into the ritual-rich world of Virgo. Virgo brings us closer to the hidden truths and ideals in nature, even our own human nature. At 1:36 pm, MT, on Sunday, the Moon enters her last quarter phase, a time during which the meaning and value of the cycle becomes clear. This may relate to how well we handle our innermost complex needs.
